ODESSA -- Marcella Granado Diaz, 61, of Odessa, died Thursday, Oct. 21, 1999, at her residence.
Mass was celebrated Monday, Oct. 25, 1999, at St. Mary's Catholic Church with the Rev. Francis Frey officiating. Burial was at Rose Hill Cemetery.
She was born Sept. 19, 1938, in Chisos, Terlingua.
Mrs. Diaz moved to Odessa in 1957 from Midland. She had owned Marcy's Beauty Shop for the past 30 years and was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her father, Estanislado Granado.
She is survived by her husband, Jesus Diaz of Odessa; sons, Rudy Diaz and Manuel Diaz, both of Odessa, and Stanley Diaz of Midland; daughter, Nancy Garza of Odessa; mother, Maria T. Granado of Midland; brothers, Raul Granado of Midland and Manuel Granado of Irving; 11 grandchildren; and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews.
Services were entrusted to Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
