Sara Chavarria, 79, of Big Spring died Saturday, September 9, 2006, in a local nursing home. Prayer Services will be at 7:30 PM Monday at Myers & Smith Chapel. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 AM Tuesday at Myers & Smith Chapel with her grandson Mike Villareal officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Olive Memorial Park.
She was born September 1, 1927, in Midland to Braulia and Evaristo Brito. She was a homemaker and a member of Templo Belen Assembly of God Church. She lived most of her life in Big Spring.
She is survived by 3 sons: Albert Chavarria and Vincent Martinez, both of Big Spring and Rey Chavarria of Midland; 4 daughters: Yolanda Villareal of Odessa, Olga Chavarria, Rosa Pineda and Ermelinda Cano, all of Big Spring; 3 brothers: Esequiel Nollola, Silverio Nollola, and Rudy Nollola, all of California; 1 sister: Esperanza Soria of Midland; 21 grandchildren; 41 great grandchildren; and 7 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Lalo Chavarria, Sr.; 1 daughter: Paula Villareal; and 2 sons: David and Edward Chavarria.
