Trinidad Chavarria, 78, of Fort Stockton, died July 27, 1998 at Pecos County Memorial Hospital. Rosary was said July 29 at the Fort Stockton Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 30 at 10:00 a.m. at the Church of Christ in Fort Stockton. Dr. Harold Durham officiated. Burial will be in East Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Chavarria was born May 14, 1920 in Terlingua. She married Gregorio Chavarria on Aug 18 1942 in Alpine. She has been a resident of Fort Stockton since 1944, and a member of the Church of Christ.
She is survived by her husband, Gregorio Chavarria of Fort Stockton; two daughters, Connie Jaquez of Pecos and Ampara Alamendarez of Fort Stockton; three sons, Greg Chavarria of El Paso, Samuel Chavarria of Houston, and Daniel Chavarria of Fort Stockton; two sisters, Josepha Fierro and Natividad Franco, both of Carlsbad, New Mexico; ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
